INSTRUMENT MAKING
Precision of
measurement is of paramount importance when creating equipment and
devices meeting the world level. The instrument making takes the
decisive place in achieving high quality of products manufactured by
Belarusian enterprises. The instrument-making sector includes 5
enterprises, which, after the Chernobyl catastrophe, played an
important role in providing the republic with radiometric control
facilities. At present, enterprises of this sector manufacture
electrical measurement and analytical devices, weight-measuring
equipment, as well as radiometric instruments, electrical air-dryers,
electrical fans, automobile vacuum cleaners and other consumer goods.
Ekran Belarusian Production Amalgamation (Borisov) manufactures equipment for navigation
and aircraft piloting, anti-blockage automobile systems, and automobile
sensors of various purposes.
Electroizmeritel Vitebsk Production Amalgamation manufactures electrical measurement devices,
measurement converters, and account devices.
The Gomel Plant of Measuring Devices manufactures analytical instruments and electrode
systems.
