This industry
includes over 10 enterprises manufacturing a greater part of machines,
equipment and tools required by road specialists, builders and communal
facilities. Over the recent years, a lot of new products have been put
into production that successfully compete with similar foreign
products. They include truck hydraulic cranes, container carriers,
road-cleaners, installation lifters, and manipulators for work with
timber. The enterprises also manufacture concrete mixers, painting
devices and stations, paint sprayers, bitumen mastic laying machines,
diaphragm compressors, pumps and other equipment for construction and
finishing work.
Amkodor Concern in the city of Minsk manufactures loaders,
aerodrome-cleaning machines, snow-cleaning machines, road-cleaning
machines, and buses.
Mogilevtransmash Plant manufactures open and tent-type automobile semi-trailers,
refrigerators, pipe carriers, container carriers, panel carriers, truck
cranes of 15 and 25 t capacity, lifting machines, garbage collecting
machines and isothermal vans.
The Mozyr Plant of Land-reclamation Machines manufactures mounting implements for
land-reclamation and road-construction machines (bulldozers,
stump-pullers, scarifiers), rotor road mowers and mounting implements
for agricultural loaders.
The Volkovyssk Plant of Roofing and
Construction-Finishing Machines manufactures concrete mixers, painting units and stations,
bitumen mastic laying machines, paint sprayers, compressors, and pumps.
